Scarborough, ME - Locums Endocrinologist (IMLC Accepted) AvailabilityStart Date: ASAPAssignment Length: 6 months with potential extension up to 1 yearCoverage: Full-time Licenses & CertificationsRequiredBoard Certified in EndocrinologyExperience using Epic EMR2 Supervisor References and 1 Peer Reference from the past 12 months Highly PreferredActive Maine Medical License or Active IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) experience Licensing candidates will be considered.
ScheduleFull-TimeMonday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (4 x 10-hour shifts) or 5 x 8-hour shiftsNo CallNo Weekends Practice SettingAmbulatory Outpatient Endocrinology ClinicEMR: Epic Patient PopulationAdult Endocrinology and Diabetes Required Clinical ExperienceEndocrinology and diabetes managementHospital discharge follow-up visitsNew patient evaluationsFollow-up appointmentsComfortable seeing 16-20 patients per day Practice DetailsVolume based on 8- or 10-hour shiftsCurrent team includes 11 Endocrinologists and 4 APPsOn-site Certified Diabetes EducatorsComprehensive diabetes management, insulin pump education, and patient education servicesRegional referral center for endocrine and diabetes care Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
