Join our dynamic team as a Locum Tenens Pediatric Endocrinologist in a top-notch facility located in Spokane, WA. This position involves both inpatient and outpatient care, providing consistent and ongoing attention to a variety of pediatric endocrine cases. Enjoy a regular schedule with the potential for call coverage to gain further hands-on experience.

Assignment Type: Locum Tenens

Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: 1 Week per month; Clinic Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with 24-hour beeper call coverage as needed

Patient Population: Pediatric

Location: Spokane, WA

Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive endocrine care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Perform 1-hour evaluations for new and diabetic patients, and 30-minute follow-ups.

See an average of 8-10 patients per day.

Participate in minimal weekend rounding during call coverage.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology

Active state license or IMLC eligibility

DEA license required

Solid references required for presentation

Working Hours

1 week per month with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

24-Hour beeper call during scheduled week

Skills

Proficiency in managing a wide range of pediatric endocrine disorders

Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills

Ability to maintain high-quality care while managing a dynamic patient load

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
