Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) - GI Lab | Petaluma, California

Position: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Petaluma, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule
Shift Duration: 8 hours
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP / 10/19/2026
Call: Required, with 3 call shifts in a 2-week period
Weekends: No weekends
Floating: May float to pre-op, phase II PACU, and nearby sister facilities with advance notice
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280 - $2,400
Charting System: Epic
Job Requirements Active California RN license in hand at submission
Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy RN or GI Lab RN experience required
ACLS, BLS, and CGRN certifications required
Experience with conscious sedation, airway management, and monitored anesthesia care recovery
Ability to circulate and scrub in procedural nursing settings
Experience with Epic charting required
Strong IV skills, including starting and maintaining IVs
Ability to support adult and geriatric patient populations
First-time travelers considered only with 3+ years of endoscopy experience
Must be flexible to float and comfortable working in a high-acuity procedural environment
Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
Assist with pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care
Administer and monitor conscious sedation per protocol
Support airway management and continuous patient monitoring throughout procedures
Prepare, organize, and maintain endoscopy equipment and GI Lab supplies
Circulate and scrub for a variety of GI and endoscopic procedures
Perform accurate specimen handling, labeling, and documentation
Document patient care and procedure details in Epic
Collaborate with the procedural team to promote efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes
Float to pre-op, phase II PACU, or nearby sister facilities when needed
