Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse Job in Plano, Texas
Join a high-performing procedural nursing team in Plano, TX, with this travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse assignment. This 13-week travel nurse job is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered endoscopy unit supporting advanced GI and pulmonary procedures. Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Shift Duration: 10-hour days
Hours Per Week: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,670 - $1,760
Call Requirement: Approximately 4-7 days per month
Unit Setting: 5 procedure rooms, 1:1 patient ratio, Meditech EMR
Registered Nurse Job Requirements Active RN license
At least 1 year of recent nursing experience, preferably in endoscopy, procedural nursing, or acute care
Strong experience with colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and endoscope reprocessing
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
Comfortable supporting advanced GI procedures and maintaining patient safety throughout the care process
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Endoscopy RN Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and related procedures
Assist with procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and EBUS
Prepare patients, support physicians during procedures, and monitor recovery as needed
Perform endoscope reprocessing in accordance with unit standards and infection control practices
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary procedural team to ensure efficient patient flow
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and uphold high standards of patient care
Participate in call coverage as scheduled
