Endoscopy TechWhen you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.As an Endoscopy Tech for our Endoscopy Team, you will be responsible for the following:Preparing rooms and equipment.Assisting with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment.Ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected.Providing quality and safe patient care.Facilitating patients in and out of procedure room.Independently performing turn over of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up room, inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning) ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment.Obtaining vital signs and recording findingsEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent AndCompletion of a Certified Nurse's Assistant course OrNursing Student with two completed clinical rotationsExperience:Required: Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing AssistantPreferred: ACU or Medical/SurgicalBLS is requiredThis is a 40 hour/week, day shift positionBeth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is an integrated health system dedicated to creating healthier communities — one person at a time — through seamless care and ground-breaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity.Founded in 2019, our system brings together academic medical centers and teaching hospitals, community and specialty hospitals, primary and specialty care, behavioral health and home care services, and more than 5,900 physicians and 36,000 employees to care for more than 1.7 million patients in communities across Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
