Endoscopy Tech - Endo Lab, PRN

Responsibilities
Assists the physician in the performance of endoscopic procedures.
Maintains supplies and equipment in the Endoscopy Department in proper working order.
Cleans and disinfects equipment according to unit and hospital policy.
Provides appropriate patient care to the Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Performs clerical duties as necessary to assure optimal function of Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy.
Assembles and maintains patient chart material, records and files; maintains order, cleanliness of the workstation.
Completes charges for patients.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Preferred graduate of GI/OR Technology program or CNA/MA program.
Previous experience as Unit Secretary preferred or as CNA/MA.
Current AHA BLS Certification required.
Previous experience in Endoscopy preferred.
