Endoscopy TechnicianSt. Catherine of Siena Hospital is a proud member of Catholic Health and has served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine's is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. We work collaboratively to provide compassionate care and utilize evidence based practice to improve outcomes – to every patient, every time.Endoscopy Technician Responsibilities:Participates in patient-focused team approach of providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span.Performs a variety of technical procedures and activities relating to patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent required.NYS Nursing Assistant certification preferred.Minimum 1-year experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care facility preferred.Experience in Endoscopy field requiredPosted Salary RangeUSD $26.30 - USD $26.30 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
