A law firm seeks an Energy Counsel or Income Partner to join its Environmental practice in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves representing clients in complex regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters within the energy sector.
Duties
Represent clients in regulatory and litigation matters.
Provide strategic regulatory counseling.
Support energy-related mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions.
Collaborate with colleagues across energy, corporate, and litigation practices.
Requirements
Significant experience with FERC and state energy regulatory agencies.
Strong regulatory and litigation experience in the energy sector.
Experience advising on energy-related mergers and acquisitions.
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage sophisticated client matters and collaborate across practice areas.
Business development skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Admission to the state bar.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in managing multiple projects and priorities.
