Company Overview: Join a leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for military engines and accessories as an Engine Shop Lead. This role offers a competitive salary range of $45.00 to $60.00 per hour, an exciting work environment at a U.S.-owned business, and the opportunity to play a pivotal role in overseeing engine testing operations. Job Summary:

As the Engine Shop Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing engine testing operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and effectiveness. Your role will involve coordinating test schedules, leading a team of technicians, analyzing test data, and maintaining testing equipment.

Responsibilities:

Lead engine testing activities from setup to completion, ensuring compliance with protocols and safety regulations.

Coordinate test schedules and allocate resources to meet project deadlines.

Provide guidance, training, and support to a team of technicians.

Analyze test data and prepare reports for engineering teams and management.

Troubleshoot technical issues during testing and implement corrective actions.

Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.

Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine testing procedures.

Maintain documentation related to testing activities and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Experience in engine testing or a related field.

Technical knowledge of engine systems and testing methodologies.

Leadership experience in guiding teams of technicians.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in engine testing or related area.

Experience with engine test cell operations and instrumentation.

Familiarity with industry-standard testing software and tools.
