Job description
In most instances, this position requires in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in Distributed Systems, Software Architecture, and System Design.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, Java, C++, System Architecture, Software Development, Database Design, Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC) and Protocol Buffers.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5 years of experience leading a team building large-scale distributed systems, setting up enterprise grade agent infrastructure (i.e., MCP servers, tools, agents).
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
Ability to lead and grow a team of several engineers building next-generation distributed systems and storage infrastructure, leveraging prior engineering management experience from leading technology organizations.
