\ N Expected salaryrange:
\ N Sr Level - $122,400- $154,000
\ N Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.
\ NOver the past decade, Constellation has invested more than $7.1 billion in capital across its nuclear fleet to support continued safe, reliable operations and long-term license extensions. We are planning multi-billion dollar investments through 2030 to include possible extended uprates and overall modernization of our nuclear facilities where appropriate.
\ N We are seeking Engineers and other skilled technical experts to help Constellation, the largest private sector power producer in the world, continue to design, build and operate its nuclear fleet at world-class standards.
\ N PrimaryPurpose of Position
\ NPerforms advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.
\ N PrimaryDuties and Accountabilities
\ N Providein-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
\ N Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
\ N Provide complete task management of engineering issues.
\ N Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
\ N Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
\ N Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
\ N Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
\ N Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
\ N Minimum Qualifications
\ N Bachelor's degreein Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
\ N Maintain minimum accessrequirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
\ N Preferred Qualifications
\ N Professional Engineer Registration
\ N Advanced technical degree or related coursework
