Job description
UX Designer
The UX Designer is a key player in determining the future of design at Huawei. We are looking for a visionary designer who is ready to and capable of setting the bar high for amazing and delightful UI design. You will collaborate closely with the design team in San Francisco as well as our Colleagues at HQ in China to provide interactive prototypes, design mock-ups, specifications, and final assets required for flawless design implementation.
Duties
Conceptualize and realize new, innovative ideas in the form of prototypes and detailed design specifications.
Understand the design community and work collaboratively to make sure that design solutions meet UX standards, best practices and principles.
Participate in experimental prototypes and proof of concept projects.
Deliver projects that are "focused and requirements driven" on time and on schedule.
Attend conferences and workshops and share knowledge gained with Co-Workers globally
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in visual design, human factor and interaction design (or equivalent experience) required.
Minimum 3 years of experience creating visually stunning user experiences.
A natural diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience creating visually stunning user experiences for digital media.
Well versed in fundamental visual and interactive design disciplines and principals.
An outstanding body of work demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative digital interface design solutions.
Deep understanding of the latest in mobile design across all platforms. Deep knowledge of Android and iOS is a must.
Someone who loves reading Apple's human interface design guidelines documentation and equivalent documents from Android and Windows.
This person sees only possibilities when looking at a blank white board.
Software Skills
Professional-level knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Complete mastery of OS X, iOS, and Android platforms
Advanced knowledge of interaction prototyping tools like Origami, Flinto, Protopie or Framer is a big plus.
