Engineering Administrative AssistantWe're hiring an Engineering Administrative Assistant who will be supporting large fiber telecommunications projects. This position is responsible for coordinating municipal requirements, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), bonds, licenses, and other project-related documentation.This is an on-site role, located in Wauwatosa, WI 53226What You'll DoResearch municipal codes, ordinances, websites, and other resources to determine requirements for fiber construction projectsIdentify municipal requirements related to bonds, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), licenses, permits, and other required documentationPrepare, submit, track, and maintain Certificates of Insurance and bond documentationCommunicate directly with municipalities by phone and email regarding project requirements, documentation, licenses, bonds, COIs, and other requestsFollow up with municipalities to obtain approvals, clarify requirements, and resolve outstanding documentationProvide administrative support to the Director of Engineering – Large Projects and Engineering teamPrepare, format, scan, copy, and distribute project and municipal documentsMail, ship, and track documents and other materials as neededTrack outstanding items and follow up with internal employees, municipalities, vendors, and other partiesAssist with special projects and other administrative duties within the Engineering DepartmentOther duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForHigh School diploma or equivalent required2+ years of administrative, project coordination, construction, telecommunications, engineering, permitting, compliance, or related experience preferredStrong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasksMust be resourceful, flexible and maintain the ability to react and respond quickly with a focus on accuracy and detailsMust have a valid driver's license and be insurableBenefits Include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short & Long-Term Disability, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO starting day one, paid holidays, referral bonuses, and more.AA/EEO Drug Testing Employer
