Salary StatementEstimated Starting Salary Range: USD $30.28/Hr. - USD $50.47/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.DescriptionExecuting the quality control plan by performing detailed inspections and tests on all phases of goods, services, and operations. Checking for conformity to quality and safety standards, conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections, communicating deficiencies to production personnel for correction, and maintaining daily inspection records to ensure satisfactory performance. FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-KM1RequirementsBachelor's degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and at least three (3) years of relevant experience; Or an Associate's degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience Or High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experienceOf the minimum required experience, at least 2 years of experience must be directly related to production facilitiesExperience working as a hands-on engineering or quality inspector executing quality control plansDemonstrated experience performing detailed inspections and tests on all phases of goods, services, and operationsExperience meticulously checking for conformity to established quality, health, and safety standards as defined in technical/task order specificationsExperience conducting both scheduled and unscheduled inspections, and accurately documenting all results and deficienciesExperience communicating inspection findings directly to appropriate production personnel for immediate correctionExperience maintaining daily records for all inspections conducted and ensuring services listed on performance requirement summaries are performed satisfactorily on a day-to-day basisPossess a current DoD Secret Security ClearanceDesired SkillsExperience inspecting complex mechanical and electrical assemblies, fabrications, or prototypesRelevant QA/QC certifications (Including SQ CQI/CQT, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, Lean Six Sigma) or specialized training in engineering inspectionsClearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL Travel RequirementsLess than 15 business days per calendar yearAbout UsScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
