Job description
$260K–$380K inference infra management track org from zero
San Francisco · Posted July 8, 2026
Why it's interesting
Baseten is hiring the FDE manager and the ICs simultaneously — join the org on day zero, or run it.
The role
Build and lead Baseten's forward-deployed team helping customers ship LLM workloads on its inference platform. A parallel IC posting (Applied AI Inference FDE) is live alongside — clear signal of a real org, not a one-off req. Sourced via the Plank FDE census (CC BY 4.0).
