We actively cultivate a culture fueled by intellectual curiosity and diverse perspectives, where every team member is integral to delivering cutting-edge solutions.Duties/Responsibilities:Create parts in ERP systemCreate requisitions in ERP systemReview SDRLs (Supplier Data Requirements List) to ensure proper documentation is procured for all equipmentMaintain procurement for all projects to include BOM (Bill of Material), Kanban, Min/Max, and BufferWork with Designers/Engineers to provide weekly BOMs to the CAD Integration department for all projectsCoordinate change support with Engineers/Designers to include BOM and Engineering Product estimatesMaintain Technical Specifications in coordination with Project EngineerMaintain department processes and corresponding documentationAssist Project Engineers with metrics development and trackingCoordinate and execute product formatting and submittal to Document ControlComplies with Austal's employee handbook general guidelines, company procedures and policies.Act as a Compliance Champion for the organization and work to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.Support business unit Tier 1 Compliance Lead in responsibilities as required.Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience:Bachelors degree in related field preferred.Excellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products required.Demonstrated working knowledge of PDF Writer preferred.Demonstrated working knowledge of AUTOCAD preferred.Experience operating within an ERP system preferred.Experience with ShipConstructor preferred.Experience with BizFlow preferred.Additional Guidelines:The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance may be required if deemed necessary in the scope of your position responsibilities.18 years of age or older at time of applicationAble to provide proof of US Person StatusNo felony convictions of Theft/Deception or Violent crimes within seven years from disposition dateNo felony convictions of Drug crimes within three years from disposition dateWilling to submit to a drug screenWilling to submit to a background checkWork Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to humid conditions, bright flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles at or below the PEL, toxic or caustic chemicals, and heat and cold.
