Full-Time Contract Position | Soliant Education | Missouri
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and student-focused ELL/ESOL Teacher for a full-time contract opportunity with a supportive school district in Missouri. This position serves a diverse population of more than 30 students across grades K-5 , representing a wide range of English language proficiency levels and learning needs.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping multilingual learners develop English language skills while collaborating with educators to support academic achievement across all content areas.
Position Details
Full-time, school-based contract position
K-5 student population
Caseload of just over 30 students district-wide
Students represent a broad range of academic English proficiency levels
Instruction and support based on Missouri's annual WIDA ACCESS assessment framework
Students are served across proficiency levels 1-6, with eligibility to exit language services upon meeting state criteria
Some students may also qualify for special education services, requiring collaboration with special education teams
Typically at least one instructional group per grade level
Service delivery provided four days per week
Wednesdays dedicated to program management, progress monitoring, documentation, and classroom teacher coaching/support
Responsibilities Provide direct English language development instruction to K-5 English Language Learners
Develop and implement lessons aligned with students' language proficiency levels
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support language acquisition within general education settings
Provide instructional coaching and language support strategies to staff
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with special education personnel when applicable
Analyze WIDA ACCESS and other assessment data to guide instruction and service delivery
Communicate effectively with families, educators, and school administrators
Qualifications Active Missouri ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) or ELL (English Language Learners) certification required
Missouri K-12 ESOL/ELL certification required
Experience working with multilingual learners preferred
Knowledge of WIDA standards and language acquisition best practices
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to support students with varying language proficiency and academic needs
