Job description
The Enterprise Architect guides technology direction for the State of Indiana, working across agencies and internal teams to improve security, reliability, and modern solutions supporting digital government. This strategic and hands-on role influences standards, shapes future platforms, and plays a key part in enterprise-wide technology decisions, requiring strong communication, practical judgment, and collaborative skills.
Key qualifications:
Master's Degree with 3+ years of IT/security experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years, or Associate's Degree with 7+ years, or 9+ years similar experience
Demonstrated skills in computer science, cloud administration, server administration, or IT/security tradecraft
Experience implementing enterprise, domain, or solution architecture in government or similar environments
Excellent communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Ability to translate business priorities into practical architecture recommendations and influence decisions across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience managing multiple competing priorities and establishing effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders
