The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing infrastructure capabilities, improving service reliability, advancing automation, and enhancing the overall technology experience for employees across manufacturing locations, corporate offices, and remote environments. Working in partnership with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, regional IT teams, and business stakeholders, this leader will ensure infrastructure services remain secure, scalable, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s long-term digital strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide leadership and accountability for the stability, availability, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise technology services supporting manufacturing operations and corporate environments.

Simplify and standardize infrastructure platforms by reducing technical debt, consolidating services, optimizing strategic technologies, and modernizing legacy environments.

Lead initiatives that improve scalability, resiliency, operational efficiency, service quality, and technology adoption across the organization.

Advance infrastructure monitoring and observability capabilities by expanding service visibility, enhancing event management, improving SaaS monitoring, and implementing predictive operational insights.

Champion automation strategies that enable proactive support, rapid issue resolution, self-healing capabilities, and reduced manual intervention.

Expand the use of AI-driven technologies to improve end-user support, knowledge management, operational intelligence, and root-cause analysis.

Strengthen incident response processes through effective major incident coordination, stakeholder communication, post-incident reviews, and corrective action planning.

Maintain enterprise business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery programs, ensuring recovery processes are documented, tested, and regularly validated.

Drive network modernization initiatives, including wireless technology upgrades, resiliency enhancements, architecture optimization, and core infrastructure improvements.

Support manufacturing technology initiatives by improving network segmentation and infrastructure security across operational technology environments.

Establish and govern infrastructure standards, operational procedures, architecture documentation, asset management practices, and compliance requirements.

Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity teams to enhance identity controls, privileged access management, Zero Trust initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and secure platform integration.

Manage infrastructure-related budgets, vendor relationships, licensing programs, sourcing activities, and cost optimization initiatives.

Develop executive-level reporting around service performance, operational risks, project progress, investment priorities, and strategic outcomes.

Build and lead a high-performing global team focused on operational excellence, accountability, customer satisfaction, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, technology operations, service delivery, or related leadership roles.

Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed and cross-functional technology teams.

Experience managing complex hybrid-cloud environments utilizing platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.

Solid knowledge of IT service management principles, operational governance, and industry best practices, including ITIL frameworks.

Proven ability to influence stakeholders, build partnerships, and drive results within matrixed organizations.

Experience leading large-scale infrastructure transformation, modernization, or digital workplace initiatives.

Strong business acumen with the ability to balance service quality, risk management, operational efficiency, and cost control.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-management skills.

Industry certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
