nJob Description:

nAt Regions, the Enterprise Risk Governance Analyst participates in the deployment of a comprehensive risk management approach to ensure risks are identified, measured, mitigated, monitored, and reported in alignment with the Risk Management Framework, the Board of Directors' Risk Appetite Statement, and regulatory expectations.

nPrimary Responsibilities

nnnAssists in the development and implementation of internal risk and control structures to ensure objectivity and consistency of risk assessment, management, and reporting across the organization

n

nnAssists in data compilation/aggregation and supports the creation, maintenance, and routine reporting of metrics that measure key risk and performance areas

n

nnAnalyzes risk data and/or prepares risk assessments, including maintenance of supporting workpapers

n

nnAssists in risk projects including change management, design, implementation, communication/reporting, and relationship management

n

nnPerforms quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure proper execution and adherence to enterprise risk programs

n

nnMay create presentations, job aids, training materials, and reporting tools through SharePoint, PowerBI, and enterprise Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) Archer tools/reporting

n

n nThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

nRequirements

nnnBachelor's degree in Risk Management or a business-related field

n

nnFamiliarity with enterprise risk and operational risk management frameworks, principles, and practices

n

n nPreferences

nnnOne (1) year of experience in risk management, public accounting, or the financial industry

n

nnFamiliarity with databases, data structures, financial reporting, and bank regulations

n

nnProficiency with Archer Microsoft Power BI, and/or Tableau

n

nnExperience in process improvement, process optimization, and solution development and implementation

n

n nSkills and Competencies

nnnAbility to research, analyze data, and derive facts

n

nnAbility to work under direct supervision

n

nnAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines

n

nnProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

nnStrong project management and change management skills

nnStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

nnStrong work ethic and self-motivation

nCompensation Details

nPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

nThe target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
