Internship OpportunityInterns are hired through a third-party vendor rather than directly by Southwest Gas. This internship is based in Las Vegas, NV. Please note that relocation support, including housing or moving assistance, is not provided for this opportunity.Internship start date: November 2, 2026Deadline to apply: October 9, 2026We are looking for an intern to join our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. The internship requires a minimum of 20 hours of work per week in a hybrid work environment. This internship will provide:Real corporate experience in enterprise risk managementHands-on learning across multiple risk areasMentorship from experienced professionalsExposure to analytics, compliance, and business operationsStrong foundation for careers in risk, finance, audit, or consultingThe ideal candidate will have a curious, analytical mindset and possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal). During the internship, you'll learn about:ERM fundamentalsBusiness continuity and operational resilienceCompliance, governance, and internal controlsCorporate reporting and documentation practicesData analysis, visualization, and governance, risk, and compliance tools (GRC)Cross-functional teamwork in a real business environmentResponsibilitiesAssist with collecting and organizing risk-related data within the GRC toolAssist with identifying and documenting organizational risksAssist with taking meeting notes and documenting action itemsAssist with maintaining accurate ERM and business continuity documentationSupporting process improvement initiativesOther duties as assignedRequirementsEnrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance, Risk Management or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsMust be in a senior, or master statusExcellent relationship-building skillsExcellent communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Office applications is a plusSalary Details: $22.00 - 27.00/hour
