This role requires   scheduling flexibility, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and opening and closing shifts based on business needs. 

Work Environment:  

This hospitality-based role is fully on-site in a fast-paced, high-throughput entertainment, attractions, and retail environment supporting in-person guest and team interactions

As an Entertainment Ambassador at Great Wolf Lodge, you will deliver engaging guest experiences and drive show quality across resort entertainment programming by performing with energy and consistency, maintaining safe and clean environments, upholding performance and production standards, and collaborating with your team to uphold Brand Standards in a high-energy resort setting.  Your expertise in entertainment, performance, guest engagement, and operations directly contributes to guest satisfaction, team performance, and operational efficiency across your entertainment area.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance Guest Experience  

Greet and engage guests while maintaining professional presentation 

Deliver entertainment programming aligned with brand standards with energy and professionalism 

Respond promptly to guest inquiries and escalate issues to leadership 

Perform in fully costumed character role, engaging guests of all ages, including high-touch interactions such as hugs, high-fives, and photos with families, while maintaining brand character integrity 

Safety  

Follow all safety guidelines, company procedures, and asset protection protocols 

Participate in required safety and emergency training 

Report any incidents or hazards to leadership 

Maintain organized, clean work areas that comply with health and safety standards 

Support character costuming cleaning and maintenance to ensure safety and appearance standards 

Operations  

Execute daily entertainment tasks including program set-up and tear down procedures, equipment operations, communication to leaders and maintain cleanliness to uphold brand standards 

Learn new programming multiple times per year and apply skills consistently 

Support community engagement activities and special events as assigned 

Keep entertainment supplies stocked and organized; manage daily activities to maximize guest interaction time 

Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall resort operations 

Basic Qualifications & Skills  

Must be at least 16 years of age or older 

Comfortable speaking, dancing, and performing in front of large groups of people multiple times a day. 

Some High School education or equivalent 

Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands including evenings, weekends, and Holidays 

Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures 

Successful completion of a criminal background and drug screen 

Desired Qualifications & Traits  

Previous experience in a related field such as Entertainment, Dance, or Theater. 

Charismatic, enthusiastic attitude 

Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction 

Previous experience in a character costume and/or working with children 

Proven teamwork skills 

Physical Requirements  

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 

Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time 

Ability to fit and wear character costumes maintain composure in character costumes including heat and humidity for periods of 60 minutes 

Ability to dance and perform in hot, humid, and outdoor environments for periods of up to 2 hours
