nLaunch your accounting career while gaining practical experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting operations. You will support general ledger activities, prepare financial statements and reports, and help maintain accounting systems and controls. This is a great opportunity to develop your accounting knowledge while gaining exposure to management, auditors, and regulatory reporting.
nJob Description:
nnnMaintains adequate accounting and control for various accounting functions.
n
nnMaintains and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts.
n
nnPrepares financial statements and reports.
n
nnMaintains and develops automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures.
n
nnPrepares and develops reports for management and/or for regulatory authorities.
n
nnResponds to inquiries regarding accounting policies, procedures, and issues from management, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
n
n nBasic Qualifications:
nnnBachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
n
nnTwo to three years of experience in financial accounting activities
n
n nPreferred Skills/Experience:
nnnProficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
n
nnThorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulations
n
nnThorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
n
nnAbility to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
n
n nThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

nThe salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $22.50 - $30.00
