The Entry Level Accounting Specialist reports to the Controller and is an important member of the accounting department. This position is responsible for the coordination and processing of daily and periodic invoices, among other duties.*This is an In-Office Position located at our Minneapolis, MN Headquarters Location*Requirements:A team player willing to show initiative and go the extra mile to ensure smooth operationsHigh attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume settingDependable and responsible with a positive attitude and strong communications skills2-year degree or two years of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains a plusBilling & Collection Responsibilities:Manage billing for service contracts by generating invoices according to contract schedules and billing deadlinesVerify service completion, contract coverage, contract notes, contract billing lines, taxes, and other billing requirements before invoicingSubmit customer invoices through email and online portals and investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely mannerWork with colleagues to track unbilled services and coordinate with other departments for resolving billing issues and bottlenecksEnsure timely delivery of customer invoicesFollow up with customers to complete payments within agreed termsResearch late payments and effectively communicate issues to Controller and Director of FinanceMisc. Duties:Answer incoming calls to the accounting departmentAssist accounting department with monthly reportsSpecial projects as assigned by managementEmployee Benefits and Pay Including:We believe in taking care of our team—both at work and beyond.
