Entry-Level Automotive Technician
We're looking for Automotive Mechanics with a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana - the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. As an Entry-Level Technician, you'll be expected to perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and/or conduct the initial inspection on our vehicles to look for any imperfections or repairs that may be needed throughout the reconditioning process. Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 hourly (based on level of experience)
Pay: Starting pay for this position is $17/hr.
Schedule: We offer two shifts at this location. Please keep in mind that all locations are subject to mandatory overtime based on business need.
First shift: Mon-Fri 6am-3pm
Second shift: Mon-Thurs 4pm-3am
Location: Our inspection center is located at: 1000 E Gowan Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89030

General qualifications and requirements
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools - must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Some positions may be subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
