Entry Level Cnc Machine Operator – First ShiftBerkshire Precision Tool, LLC, a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools, is seeking an Entry Level CNC Machine Operator for our production facility located in Pittsfield, MA.Previous CNC machining experience is not required – we will train the right individual.Hours for this position will be 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.This person will be responsible for daily operation of basic CNC equipment along with the performance of daily miscellaneous tasks related to Material Preparation.Salary range for this position will be $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.The ideal candidate will need basic computer and math skills.We offer an excellent benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) base and matching contribution, paid holidays and vacation, long-term and short-term disability and life insurance.Responsibilities for Entry Level Machine OperatorOperate machinery and equipment according to instructionsComply with all safety and health regulationsMaintain a clean work areaQualifications for Entry Level Machine OperatorHigh School Diploma or GEDBasic computer knowledgeBe detail-oriented with a good work ethicPossess basic math skillsTake pride in producing high quality American-made productsAbility to follow written and oral instructionsAbility to work in a team
