CNC Machinist TraineeKMM Group is looking for a CNC Machinist Trainee to join our precision manufacturing team in Hatboro, PA. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to build a real career in manufacturing. You do not need years of machining experience. You do need mechanical aptitude, reliability, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn how precision parts are made for industries where the work truly matters.At KMM, our team supports mission-critical components for medical device, aerospace, defense, space exploration, and high-tech manufacturing. The parts moving through our shop may support surgical tools, life-saving equipment, space manufacturing, aircraft, and advanced technology. This is hands-on work with a future attached to it.We offer the option of working 4 ten hour shifts, Monday - Thursday. Enjoy a long weekend!Job ResponsibilitiesAs a CNC Machinist Trainee, you will support production, finishing, cleaning, material movement, and shop operations while learning the fundamentals of precision manufacturing.Responsibilities include:Assist with production jobs in various manufacturing work centersSupport CNC machining, grinding, EDM, guidewire, finishing, and inspection areas as neededDeburr, clean, and finish precision parts to customer specificationsUse hand tools and specialty finishing equipmentRun automated passivation line and part washing systemsLoad and catch parts for thru-feed grinding operationsCut, radius, and press guidewires as neededStage jobs, materials, tooling, and parts to support production flowDeliver and pick up parts and materials internally and externally using forklifts and company vehiclesAssist production, maintenance, and quality teams with daily shop needsHelp with coolant tank cleanouts and general shop organizationFollow safety, quality, and documentation requirements in an ISO/ITAR manufacturing environmentJob RequirementsThis role is a strong fit for someone who is dependable, curious, hands-on, and ready to learn.Preferred Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentEntry-level manufacturing, machine shop, warehouse, mechanical, automotive, maintenance, or trade school experience helpfulMechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment, and small partsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detailWillingness to learn CNC machining, precision grinding, EDM, quality inspection, and production machining processesAbility to stand, move, lift, clean, stage, and support hands-on production workForklift experience preferred, or willingness to be trainedCommitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvementPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the workdayAbility to frequently handle small parts and use hand toolsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequentlyAbility to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts (training provided)Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and wear required PPEAbility to perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity, visual acuity, and attention to detailITAR RequirementKMM is an ITAR-registered facility.
