Entry Level Detailer

nThe role of the detailer is to coordinate customer requirements, drawings, and specifications in order to provide Nucor Insulated Panel Group product installation drawings and bills of materials.

nnnInterpret Structural and Architectural contract documents correctly and accurately.

nnDevelop detailed drawings utilizing both commercially available and proprietary software platforms to be used by manufacturing facilities to produce panels and associated accessories.

n

nnDevelop accurate and easy to follow, approval and/or construction drawings to assure the installed material meets the required performance specifications.

n

nnDevelop Bill of Materials to produce shipping lists of parts and components for plant and customer use.

n

nnCommunicate needs and challenges identified to all team members to assure quick disposition of issues.

n

nnInteract with internal and external customers to develop design solutions that meet project specific requirements.

n

nnMaintain a continued awareness of project schedule and budget.

n

nnMeet or exceed department accuracy goals.

n

nnManage multiple ongoing projects from the design phase through the manufacturing phase(s) and through erection.

n

nMinimum Qualifications:

nHigh school diploma

nAutoCAD Experience

nPreferred Qualifications:

nPrevious AutoCAD experience

nPrevious Inventor, Revit, or other AutoDesk software platform experience
