Heavy Duty Entry Level Diesel Technician
Forge Truck Centers™ is hiring an entry-level heavy-duty technician for our Hutchins, TX location. It's a hands-on role working inside and outside year-round, and a great way to build your career in the heavy-duty truck industry.

Forge Truck Centers™ is one of the nation's leading specialized truck dealerships, providing a premier lineup of heavy-duty trucks across the country. Forge Truck Centers™ currently has an opening for a Heavy Duty Truck General Labor Technician position.
This position works inside as well as outside all year round; applicants must be willing to work outside year-round.
Pay:
$20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, plus Saturdays as business requires
Job type: Full-time
Load and unload truck inventory
Complete minor truck repairs
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
Complete general yard maintenance (e.g., moving trailers)
Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or GED
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership
1+ years of experience with heavy-duty trucks
Valid driver's license required
Preferred qualifications

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on feet for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures
Ability to perform repetitive mechanical tasks and operate shop equipment
Ability to perform all physically demanding tasks in all outdoor weather conditions year-round
$20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience)
