Job description
Shift: 10:00 PM-7:00 AM
nHourly Rate: $24.17 an hour + $1.00 shift differential
nEntry Level Mechanic - 3rd Shift

n nPosition Responsibilities
nnnYou will report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site at the Macon, MO facility
n
nnTroubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/components on plant & production equipment
n
nnKeep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order
n
nnYou will inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operation
n
nnUse manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipment
n
nnUse hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/equipment on plant and production equipment
n
nnPerform electrical and pneumatic work on production machines
n
nnWelding, electrical and fabrication experience
n
nnYou may work seven days a week and extended shift schedules
n
n nPosition Qualifications
nnnHigh school diploma or GED
n
nn2 years progressive mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
n
nnVocational tech training in machine maintenance
n
nnCarry and push/pull up to 100 pounds
n
nnRead and write English for completion of production/quality documents.
n
nnBasic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages
n
nnFamiliar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools
n
nnElectrical experience
n
