Job description

Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and hands-on Entry-Level Process Engineer to join our technical team and support the development and optimization of surface finishing and polishing processes using DLyte technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or an engineer early in their career who is interested in manufacturing, materials, automation, and advanced surface finishing technologies.

The selected candidate will receive training on DLyte equipment, polishing processes, media, part preparation, process development, and customer applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform polishing tests and process trials on customer parts using DLyte equipment.

Assist in developing and optimizing polishing parameters for different materials and applications.

Prepare customer parts for testing using appropriate preparation techniques.

Inspect and evaluate parts before and after polishing.

Measure and document surface finishing results.

Prepare Technical Process Reports (TPRs) including machine settings, processing times, pictures, observations, and recommendations.

Maintain organized records of customer samples, tests, and approved processes.

Assist with machine demonstrations, installations, and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs).

Provide technical assistance and training to customers under the guidance of senior technical personnel.

Troubleshoot basic process and equipment issues.

Work with the Sales and Technical teams on customer projects and new applications.

Communicate testing results and recommendations to customers.

Travel to customer facilities for installations, training, testing, and technical support when required.

Help maintain the technical laboratory, machines, media, tooling, and testing equipment.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering , or a related engineering field.

0–2 years of professional experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Basic understanding of manufacturing and mechanical processes.

Strong interest in hands-on engineering and working directly with machinery and customer parts.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to follow technical procedures and accurately document results.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable interacting with customers and learning how to provide technical training.

Willingness to travel when required.

Ability to work independently as experience and training are gained.

Preferred but Not RequiredExperience or coursework involving manufacturing, machining, metalworking, materials, surface finishing, CNC equipment, additive manufacturing, CAD, or laboratory testing is beneficial but not required.

Previous experience with DLyte technology is not required. Training will be provided.

Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is curious, responsible, organized, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn .

The ideal candidate enjoys working with both machines and people. This position is particularly suited for a young engineer who wants to develop practical experience in process engineering while working with customers from industries such as aerospace, medical, dental, automotive, additive manufacturing, and precision manufacturing.
