Start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics!**Job Summary:**The RF Engineer I works under immediate supervision and uses established procedures to perform engineering duties in researching, planning, designing, and developing products for use in the Electronics Space marketplace. The RF Engineer I works on new product designs and existing product designs, modernization, and upgrades, as well as performs extensive analyses to ensure cost, quality, and customer requirements are met. Working within a collaborative Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment the Electrical Engineer I uses analytical thinking and innovation to ensure customer goals are met.**Essential Functions:*** Work under close supervision to gain hands‐on experience researching, planning, designing, and developing products for Defense and Space applications.* Assist with new product designs and modernization of existing designs to meet cost, quality, and customer requirements.* Support end‐to‐end systems analysis and contribute to the design of RF and mixed‐signal communications hardware.* Help with system integration and testing activities to verify product performance.* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet customer, manufacturing, and internal standards.* Contribute to the development of test procedures and help ensure product designs comply with internal and external requirements.**Minimum Qualifications:*** 0-3 years of relevant work experience* Completed courses in Electromagnetics, RF & Microwave circuits, Analog, and Mixed-signal circuit design.* Knowledge of Signal processing and Communications is desired but not a requirement.* Knowledge of simulation tools like Microwave office / ADS / HFSS is desired but not a requirement.* Some hands-on experience handling RF equipment in the lab desired.* Education/Certification: B.S. / M.S. (Preferable) in Electrical Engineering* **Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered.
