Entry Manufacturing LaborerPay Rate: ($21.22/hr. up to $26.57/hr.)New Hires Sign on Bonus, if eligible: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 monthsNew Hires Retention Bonus, if eligible: $500 after 1 year, Additional lump sum after 2 yearsCategory/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (2:50pm – 11pm or 10:50pm - 7am, Monday–Friday, OT/weekends as needed)Physical Location: Amarillo Box Facility4715 NE. 24th AveAmarillo, TX 79107The Job You Will Perform:Counting and stacking finished productPreference, but not required, Operating a Forklift and/or Clamp TruckProper inspection of outgoing and incoming product and raw materialsReading factory ordersAccurately reading gauges and other test equipmentUtilizing basic shop math, inspectingAccurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directionsThis person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.Manufacture corrugated material.Assistant Machine Operator and be prepared to promote to the next position level when a vacancy becomes available.This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONThe Skills You Will Bring:Mechanical aptitudeCounting and stacking finished productAbility to read a tape measureInterpret a variety of instructions given in written, verbal or in electronic formUtilize test equipment while performing basic math calculations
