Phlebotomy - Entry Phlebotomist ILocation: Deltona, FL 32738 Duration: 5 Months/ temp to hire Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM/ Rotating Saturdays 6:00 AM - 12:00 PMWe are seeking a compassionate, customer-focused professional to support patients throughout the check-in and specimen collection process. This role primarily serves as a Lobby Greeter, assisting patients with kiosk or tablet check-ins while ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience during their visit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to confidently perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties in accordance with established procedures and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist patients with check-in procedures using self-service kiosks or handheld tabletsProvide a positive and supportive patient experience in the lobby areaSupport workflow coverage by assisting both in the lobby and draw rooms as neededPerform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established protocolsMaintain professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in all patient interactions and data entry tasksRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required (no exceptions)Minimum of 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience required (examples include retail, healthcare support, home health aide, etc.)1 year phlebotomy experience requiredStrong keyboarding and data entry skills requiredAdditional RequirementsExceptional customer service and communication skills are essential for success in this roleAbility to handle patient interactions with compassion, patience, and professionalismComfortable working in both lobby and clinical environments
