Entry Welder at Trinity Industries, Inc.Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring an Entry Welder at our Fort Worth, TX plant. As a Welder at Trinity, you'll apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.What you'll do:Qualifies as flat and horizontal welderSMAW (wire: 1G & 2G)Oxy Fuel BurningCarbon Arcing,Hand weld in all positions, fillet and grooveMay be used for the new hire or trainee who has no experienceRequires basic skill, routine tasks and very little trainingWorks on routine manufacturing assignments that have clear goals and standard proceduresReceives detailed instructions and close supervision.Uses standard approachesProblems are not very complex and do not need a lot of judgmentAllows higher levels to handle more complex issuesFew judgment callsServes as team memberWhat you'll need:Typically has 0 – 1 year(s) of related experience.Learns job skills, company policies and processes to do routine tasksLimited or no technical knowledge requiredAbility to follow verbal or simple written instructions and proceduresMay need to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.Please include any certifications, training or relevant experience and complete details of your work history on your application; need to list at least last two employers in application, if applicable.Why Join Trinity?
