Job description
Job Title: Safety & Health Coordinator
Location: Oxford, NC
Contract length: 9 months
Pay:
$32-$35 per hour w2
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required;
a college degree is preferred.
Basic understanding of workplace health and safety regulations, including OSHA requirements.
Basic knowledge of chemistry and toxicology.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to identify issues, follow established procedures, and support safety improvements.
Ability to work effectively with team members and plant personnel.
Manufacturing, industrial, construction, or safety-related experience is a plus.
OSHA training or EHS-related certifications are beneficial.
Additional Requirements
Must provide personal steel-toed safety shoes.
Safety glasses and earplugs will be provided by the facility.
Must be available to work onsite in Oxford, NC, Monday through Friday.
