Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, 30022
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 100% Onsite
Duration: 6 Months with strong potential for extension
Pay $46.00/hour on w2.
About the Role
We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support a client site in Hampton, GA. This role will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, identifying and addressing workplace hazards, supporting OSHA compliance, and ensuring employees follow site-specific safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as an OSHA Competent Person for BMS installation activities, including low-voltage electrical subcontractor work.
Identify existing and potential workplace hazards and take appropriate corrective action.
Conduct or coordinate safety and health training when knowledge gaps are identified.
Follow and enforce site-specific safety procedures, including:
Electrical Safety
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Ladder Safety
Working at Heights
Incident and Near-Miss Reporting
Support compliance with Schneider Electric safety policies and procedures .
Maintain awareness of required safety training and certifications.
Support workplace safety and hazard prevention activities.
Required Qualifications
Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification , completed within the past 2 years .
Ability to meet OSHA requirements for a Competent Person .
Knowledge of workplace hazard identification and corrective actions.
Ability to conduct or coordinate safety training.
CPR/First Aid training or certification .
