nThe University of Miami Health System, "UHealth", IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Epic Senior Analyst, Ambulatory/Bones.
nThe Epic Senior Analyst initiates the implementation, builds, and modifies complex applications, and collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access. The incumbent supports junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues.

nnServes as a primary support contact for application end ‐ users.
n
nnInitiates the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application.
n
nnInitiates all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design.
n
nnPerforms the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow.
n
nnInitiates the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them.
n
nnSupports junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations.
n
nnCollaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
n
nnWorks with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs.
n
nnParticipates in on-call rotations and support and attend and participate s in, applicable committees.
n
nnMaintains regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
n
nnReviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
n
nnRemains knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations.
n
nnAdheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

n nDepartment Specific Functions:
nAs an Epic Senior Analyst, Ambulatory/Bones , you will report to the Senior Manager and will be responsible for:
nnnProviding oversight and leadership to Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team
n
nnInitiating the implementation, build, and modification of the application
n
nnCollaborating with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access
n
nnSupporting junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues
n

nCORE QUALIFICATIONS:
nnnBachelor’s degree in relevant field
n
nnEpicCare Ambulatory, Kaleidoscope, and Bones Certifications required
n
nnMinimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in healthcare or healthcare-related organization
n
nnPrevious operational, project management, and organizational skills
n
nnFamiliarity with physician practices' workflows, hospital outpatient departments and patient experiences preferred
n
nnFamiliarity with ophthalmology physician practices' workflows preferred
n
nnUnderstanding of a wide array of integration points, including scheduling, lab, radiology, billing, imaging, and inpatient clinical preferred
n
nnAbility to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
n
nnProficiency in computer software ( i.e. Microsoft Office).
n
nnAbility to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
n
nnAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written form .
n
nnAbility to lead, motivate, develop and train others.
n
n nAny appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
