Asphalt Roller OperatorThe Levy Group of Companies is seeking an Asphalt Roller Operator to work at our Saginaw and Flint, MI locations. The Operator will operate paving and rolling equipment.Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term DisabilityTuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programsStudent Loan Repayment ProgramEmployee Referral ProgramThe Operator will:Shovel asphalt for patching and or paving crewPerforming daily machine inspections and routine greasing, oiling, and fuelingCommunicating with office and field personnelInspect grade and elevations correctlyAssisting maintenance personnel with repairsPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorThe ideal candidate will have:Ability to operate grader, roller, and loaderKnowledge of materialsBasic mechanical aptitudeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to sit, stand or walk for an extended period of timeWork outside for an extended period of timeAbility to communicate well with co-workers, customers, and other departmentsAbility to read and writeValid CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain one
