Equipment OperatorLocation: Bossier City Transfer StationPay Range: $24-26/hr., depending on experience | Weekly PaySchedule: Monday–Friday | Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays | 50-54 hours per weekJob Summary:Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Bossier City Transfer Station. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating an excavator. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station.What You'll Do:Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and manage solid waste at the transfer stationMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient work areaPerform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptlyCommunicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operationFollow all safety procedures and operational protocolsSupport team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations movingWhat You Need to Bring:2+ years experience operating excavators.A strong safety mindset and attention to detailAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsWhy Join Waste Connections?Annual boot allowanceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%Year round job stability and long term career growth opportunitiesWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
