(LMI) is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing Construction Department serving Charlotte and surrounding areas throughout North Carolina.If you're looking for a job where you sit in a machine all day, this isn't it.We're looking for a construction professional who can confidently operate heavy equipment when needed, but isn't afraid to climb out of the cab, grab a shovel, help the crew, install conduit, set poles, pull wire, pour concrete, or do whatever it takes to finish the job safely and on schedule.We hire team players, not people who say, "That's not my job."Equipment You'll OperateSkid steersExcavatorsDigger derricksCranesTrenchersMini excavatorsForklifts and telehandlersOther construction equipment as neededWhat You'll Be DoingExcavating trenches and foundationsSetting light poles and concrete basesOperating digger derricks and cranes to unload and install polesBackfilling, grading, and site restorationAssisting with underground electrical installationsLoading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipmentPerforming daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenanceWorking alongside electricians and construction crews to complete projects safely and efficientlyTraveling to projects throughout North Carolina as requiredWhat We're Looking ForExperience operating multiple types of heavy construction equipmentSafe, productive operator with a strong work ethicWillingness to perform physical construction work when equipment isn't neededAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsStrong attention to safety and qualityDependable, punctual, and team-orientedValid driver's license with a clean driving recordCDL is a strong plus and may be required depending on the assignmentWhy Join LMI?We're growing, investing in our people, and building one of the premier outdoor electrical construction companies in the Southeast.
