Equipment Operator (Concrete Experience Required)Location: Dallas, TexasJob Type: Full-TimePay: $25 - $30 per hour (DOE)Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator with concrete experience to support our concrete and civil construction projects. This role involves operating heavy equipment to assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and concrete placement. The ideal candidate has solid field experience and understands how equipment operation impacts concrete quality and production.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and backhoes safely and efficientlyPerform excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling for concrete projectsAssist with site prep for foundations, slabs, footings, and flatworkSupport concrete crews during forming, pouring, and placement operationsRead and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plansConduct daily pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance of equipmentMonitor and adjust equipment operation to maintain grade and alignmentLoad, move, and place materials safely across the job siteFollow all OSHA and company safety protocols at all timesMaintain clean and organized job site conditionsQualifications & Skills2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience (excavator, skid steer, loader, etc.)Experience working on concrete projects (foundations, slabs, footings, or utilities) preferredAbility to read site plans, grade stakes, and layoutsStrong understanding of equipment safety and operation standardsOSHA 10 or 30 certification preferredValid driver's license requiredStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in physically demanding, outdoor conditionsWork EnvironmentOutdoor construction sites in varying weather conditionsFast-paced, physically demanding workMay require overtime and weekend shifts depending on project schedulesBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for advancement and skill developmentAbout UsWe are a growing construction company specializing in concrete and civil work.
