We are a full line steel service center with product line distribution, flame, plasma, and laser processing, welding, forming, rolling, and reinforcing steel capabilities.Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program, Life Insurance and Disability, a 401K with up to a 3.5% match, Safety bonus of up to $0.60 an hour paid quarterly based on branch safety goals, Career development opportunities, Paid vacation, sick and holidaysAbout this position: Job Type: Full Time, Onsite Schedule:Graveyard Shift, 11:30PM - 8:00AM, Monday - FridaySwing Shift, 3:30PM - 12:00AM, Monday - FridayStarting Wage: $20.40 - $30.65, depending on experience Farwest Steel's Operations Department seeks a knowledgeable and dependable individual to join their team as Equipment Operator 3. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating machinery to ensure high-quality part production while meeting customer expectations. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and performing maintenance to maximize uptime.Operate press brake machinery with precision to meet production goals.Ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met for each order.Verify job priority, material selection, and machine settings for optimal performance.Make necessary adjustments, including program edits, to improve efficiency and quality.Conduct first-part inspections to ensure specified tolerances and dimensional accuracy.Perform regular predictive maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency and uptime.Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.Assist in other warehouse duties as required.Qualifications:One (1) year of Press Brake ExperienceHigh school Diploma or GEDAbility to read and interpret production orders and technical documents.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Farwest is an Equal Opportunity Employer & Drug Free Workplace.
