Equipment OperatorNaples, FL, USA per hourHourlyFull TimeHealth, Dental, Vision, Basic Life, 401K program, Telemedicine for all employees, golf privileges off-season, Employee Scholarship Program, Child Care Assistance, employee meals and a great team to work with!Equipment Operator Opportunity at Bay Colony Golf ClubPerforms golf course maintenance and construction project work.Full Time. Hours and days fluctuate according to the needs of the golf course and golf club grounds.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate equipment including greens mowers and tee mowers for mowing, rolling and v-cuttingOperate hand edging equipmentOperate utility vehicles for transporting equipment on coursePlant and weed ornamental bedsKeep all areas including shop and equipment cleanFollow all safety rules and proceduresQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Education and/or Experience:Field experience in a similar capacity preferred. Experience on a golf course is a plus. Required knowledge of procedures, safety rules, tools, methods, and materials used for golf course maintenance and construction. Safe operation and servicing of tractors and mowers.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:Valid State Driver's License.Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions. Exposure to loud noises, vibrations, fumes, airborne particles, grease, oil, and chemicals. Active, physical work involving heavy lifting (+50 pounds); carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, walking long distances, driving and operating equipment for extended periods of time. Requires focus adjustment, depth perception, clear close and distant vision.
