Equipment OperatorThe Levy Group of Companies (Schmidt) is seeking an Equipment Operator, with at least 5 years of experience, to work at our Fountain, CO location. The Operator will operate heavy equipment, specifically Excavator and Dozer. Pay: Starting at $27 per hour + DOE. Shift/Schedule: Full Time, overtime as needed. Employee Referral Program.Responsibilities: The Operator will:Safely operate Excavator and Dozer Mining - digging and loading haul trucks to feed plantSettling ponds - digging and loading haul trucks to remove material from settling pondsStripping - digging and loading haul trucks with overburdenVarious projects as neededPerforming daily machine inspectionsCommunicating with office and field personnelInspect grade and elevations correctlyAssisting maintenance personnel with repairsPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorSkills: The ideal candidate will have:Ability to operate grader, roller, and loaderKnowledge of materialsBasic mechanical aptitudeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to sit, stand or walk for an extended period of timeWork outside for an extended period of timeAbility to communicate well with co-workers, customers, and other departmentsAbility to read and writeValid CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain oneTo Apply: Please submit your resume.
