A leading investment firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Equity Trader to join its investment team. This individual will work directly with Portfolio Managers and Analysts to execute investment ideas across public markets while helping optimize execution, monitor risk, and provide real-time market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
Execute equity, ETF, and derivative transactions with a focus on minimizing market impact and maximizing execution quality.
Work closely with Portfolio Managers to implement investment views and manage portfolio exposures.
Monitor market activity, liquidity conditions, corporate events, and news flow relevant to portfolio holdings.
Analyze execution performance and identify opportunities to improve trading outcomes.
Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, sales traders, and market participants.
Provide market color and liquidity insights to investment professionals throughout the trading day.
Assist with portfolio rebalancing, risk management, and position monitoring.
Support enhancements to trading infrastructure, workflows, and execution processes.
Coordinate with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and external counterparties to ensure seamless trade settlement and execution.
Qualifications
2-7 years of experience in equity trading, sales trading, execution services, market structure, or a related investment role.
Understanding of equity market microstructure, liquidity dynamics, and execution strategies.
Experience trading equities, ETFs, and listed derivatives preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced investment environment.
Proficiency with Bloomberg and institutional trading platforms.
