Emergency Room Admitting ClerkThe salary range displayed represents the typical salary of candidates hired. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. If so, we'd love for you to apply for our Emergency Room Admitting Clerk position!What You'll Need:High School Diploma or GED equivalentOne year experience in an office settingCustomer Service experienceWhat You'll Do:Greet patients/visitors in a courteous, welcoming mannerEnsure patient understands and signs all required forms as it pertains to the patient's registration/admissionAccurate entry of all required information into the hospital systemCollect payment when applicableNotify the clinical department with the physician order for all outpatient services and prompt notification to the ER clinical staff of individuals seeking emergency servicesVerify that all patient and insurance information is entered accurately and that authorization is obtained for the services renderedCoordinate with referring physician office as it pertains to registration requirementsWe Take Care of Our PeopleAs the largest employer in the San Luis Valley, we commit to providing our employees with quality and affordable benefits to complement a fulfilling work experience and help balance life experiences and needs.
