Overview:

$20,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available
Participates in all clinical pharmacy services, supports distributive pharmacy services, and ensures the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care to all patients on a daily basis. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes, as well as pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups. Responsibilities:
* Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
* Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
* Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
* Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
* Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
* Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education
* Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Experience:
* Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
* Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
Licensure/Certification
* Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
* Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
* Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
* Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.
Compensation/Benefits
Up to $81.87/hr. based on previous work experience.
* Weekday Evening differential $3.00/hr. Weekday Night differential $3.50/hr.
* Weekend Day differential $3.50/hr (stacks on evening OR night differential)
* Weekend Evening differential $6.50
* Weekend Night differential $7.00
