Title: Registered Nurse - ER
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Day Shift 3x12-Hour (15:00p - 03:00p)
Specialty: ER RN – Combined Adult/Peds
Shift: 3:00 PM–3:00 AM
Experience: 1 year required
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Ratio: 1:5 – mixed/shared acuity
Weekend: Every other weekend
Local: No – 75-mile radius
License: Pending license not accepted
RTO: Minimal RTO preferred
Block Schedule: Will try to accommodate, not guaranteed
Floating: Required when census warrants
IV/Phlebotomy: Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
Required Skills: Adult/Peds ED, dysrhythmia interpretation & management, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, blood products, central lines, IV starts, continuous IV paralytics/sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, CVA, isolation precautions
Charting: Epic
Scrubs: Any combination of navy & white
