ER Shift
Medical City McKinney Emergency Room Offers
Assessment and treatment for people of all ages
Board-certified or board-eligible emergency physicians
Specially-trained nurses
Primary Stroke Center
Qualifications
Current licensure as an RN
ADN Required; BSN Preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in the ER in an Acute Care hospital environment
Willing to speak with candidates that don't have recent acute care experience. However, as long as it is not more than 5 years that they have not been in acute care. The decision also depends on how many years the candidate has.
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider
ACLS Certification Preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
